Home battery brands we work with
We only match homeowners with home batteries we would put in our own walls. Every model below uses Tier-1 LFP chemistry. The market changes every quarter, and so does this list.
A home battery is a long-term piece of your house, so the brand matters as much as the size. Below are the five models earning their place in 2026. Each one has a full page covering what it is good at, who it suits, and where it falls short. We do not rank them, because the right battery depends on your home, your existing solar, and your reason for backup. That is the job we do for you when you apply.
The best integrated inverter on the market. Heavy, but bulletproof.
Modular and microinverter-native. The right call for retrofit on Enphase solar.
The largest single unit here. Great for whole-home backup without stacking.
German engineering and the longest cycle warranty in the category. The premium pick.
Domestic assembly with US warranty support. A newer brand we are watching closely.
If you have a specific brand in mind, ask us. We test new chemistry constantly and will tell you straight whether it earns a place.
How we choose which battery to recommend
When you apply, a real person looks at four things: your home's electrical service, your reason for backup, your existing solar if you have any, and your roof or wall layout. The right answer is rarely the biggest box. A homeowner who wants to ride out a short outage needs something very different from one who wants whole-home backup through a multi-day event. We match the battery to the home, then match you with one installer who is certified on that exact chemistry.
